Killing Color

The sky has split apart
enters
a rainbow of color
from your heart
the wolves are howling
the shamans are healing
and the eagle is keeper of the color
fying high past the felds of buffalo
that melt with the clouds
like ice cream with hot cherry pie
deep into the belly of luna
our beautiful moon
pass as it will
so will the time
and with it ruin
why is it that men kill?
