It May Only Be A Memory
By Reds Regan
Where have all the animals gone
where is the song of the whale
or the grace of a newborn fawn
our once great earth
with all of its wildlife
has been put up for sale
butchered by bloody greed
and its unwieldy knife
where have all the animals gone
no more do we see the scurry
of the early morning graze
in the misty morning dawn
instead man has chosen
the hurry of the modern maze
only to realize
the human race is the pawn
some day they all just might wonder
where all the animals have gone
