Roads We Travel

I'm far away from home
and a long way from my destination
wherever I roam
no matter what time of day
I still get the sensation
that the roads I have chosen
along my dusty way
are all part of my destination
travel I will
even at the worst of moments
when my feet are frozen
and too weary to be ill
I face the adversity
and begin my ascent
up yet another hill
